Rockefeller Ramblings: June 2012

Bridget's Perspective:

Here's a look back on the last 5 years of marriage....I still can't believe it's been that long! It feels like yesterday that I walked down the aisle, cried both tears of sorrow (for the rain that almost ruined our wedding - I still want to extend a thank you to all our family & friends that pitched in to make our day possible) & tears of joy (to be marrying the most awesome guy I'd ever met). It has been a wonderful journey so far & am so looking forward to our years ahead. The Lord has blessed me immeasurably with the most wonderful husband and my life is filled with lots of laughter & lots of love. We've gone through medical school, graduations, two moves, two "Match Day's", Residency & now the joy of expecting our first child. As I look forward to the next 5 years, I can't wait to see Toby's role extend as my wonderful husband & my best friend to the daddy of baby Riley.

Toby's Perspective:

Bridget almost spent our next five years finding and uploading all these pictures. Kidding...but not. Looking through the pictures was pretty fun though, as it allowed us to relive the best years of our lives. Even though Bridget would like to travel more, it seems we've traveled quite a bit, and I can't imagine a better companion. I never could've expected how God would bless my life through marriage, but the last 5 years of friends, family, adventure, and accomplishment certainly give me reason to look forward to the next. We may be ending the childless chapter of our marriage, but I can't wait to see what God has in store for us. Hopefully Riley has a sense of humor...
